On top of this is a transitional space that is expressed as a green terrace and braai area, representative of what would have been the landscape’s foliage level. All house levels are connected via a sculptural timber staircase, like a folded ribbon that, appropriate to the home’s design narrative, gradually lightens in tone as it rises. A vertically slatted box hovers over the terrace, with screens that can be opened or closed to adjust the amount of natural light filtering into the interior, ‘as if you were sitting in the shade of a large tree’. The uppermost level, the master bedroom, sits above the tree-tops. As such, the materials – white marble, pale timber – and use of skylights express a feeling of air and openness while fold-away glass walls welcome the entire expanse of the view.

The property is immaculate in style and design and offers all the modern requirements for a genuinely excellent holiday experience; with luxury throughout and stunning views, it is the perfect property for families and friends looking for high-end private villas in Cape Town. Stairs lead to the loft, which features a TV lounge and study. Passing the living area you will enter the back yard with a 4-seater dining table and water feature.

Bedroom one and two are on the same level as the living room  and  have a direct access to the backyard . The third bedroom is located on a level below, which has a separate entrance and a small garden. Downstairs bedroom also has a mini fridge, microwave, toaster and a kettle.  The interior design and refurbishing of the house were finished this year, so all the furniture is brand new. 

This is the perfect place for those who like to stay close to the action but comfortably removed. The house is serviced 3 times a week.
